The Delphina Cantina brings the fresh flavors of Latin cuisine to Bald Head Island. Located in the harbor in the former River Pilot Café, this lively restaurant serves Mexican food with a Spanish and Cuban flair.
Maritime Market Cafe
You can grab breakfast or lunch (or both) at the Maritime Market Café, located inside the Maritime Market. The Café also features an ice cream window and a Port City Java coffee bar, offering a full selection of hot and cold coffee beverages.
Sandpiper Ice Cream and Coffee
Located next to Delphina near the harbor, this cozy shop with seating overlooking the river offers all the amenities of a ‘big city’ coffee emporium. Open at 7:30 am daily, Sandpiper offers premium coffee, lattes and espressos from Java Estate Roasters as well as selection of fresh homemade pastries, baked daily.
The Bald Head Island Club
The Bald Head Island Club offers several dining options, from the ultra-casual Pelicatessen located poolside, to the relaxed, pub-style Palms dining room to the Grille and Grille Terrace, the Club’s primary dining venue.
The Shoals Club
The Shoals Club, situated at the Point of Cape Fear, treats diners to the best views on the island, while the kitchen emphasizes fresh, local ingredients and thrives on creativity.
Will o’ the Wisp
If you need a place to unwind after a day golfing, kayaking or sailing, or you just want to enjoy drinks with friends al fresco, Will o’ the Wisp, located next to the Sail Shop, is the place. Casual and relaxed, this wine bar offers a small, but refined selection of wine and beer as well as yummy snacks like gourmet popcorn, all within view of the river.
The Peli, as it’s casually known, is a great place to eat while you wait for the sun to set or lounge by the pool. This low-key restaurant is a good place to relax after a busy day on the beach and has good pizza, sandwiches, and fries.
