Nestled in the Maritime Forest, yet conveniently located just minutes from Cape Fear Commons, the Conservancy, the Shoals Club and the Island's best beach-East Beach- this is exactly what you've been looking for. Inside this traditional floor plan you'll find a cozy living area, dining space with built ins; chef's kitchen and half bath on the first floor. Step outside and relax in the screened porches and enjoy birdsong with the beach sounds in the background. Upstairs are the two bedrooms each with its own en suite. The community has a wooden walkway thru the neighborhood which leads you to a community screened pavilion - great for family gatherings.
For guest safety and property protection, cameras may be in place. No cameras are placed inside, or with any view of the interior of the property. Guest privacy is paramount, cameras are installed primarily as a theft deterrent and to protect the property.

“I’ve been visiting BHI for 22 years and have stayed in this house many times. It’s never looked better. The property has been well-maintained over the years, and the new owners have spruced things up nicely. The tvs are bigger, the upholstery nicely refreshed in hues of blue, new knives and pans in the kitchen, and the bathroom features a gorgeous mural of the island’s best landmarks. They also have two golf carts and at least three relatively new bikes with great tires (very rare in the rentals we’ve had). These allow your family to explore the island more independently. Trust me, when there’s only one cart and only bikes with old deflated tires, you end up homebound are eating, swimming, shopping, and roaming the island en masse because walking is your only other option.” Jamesia – June 2024
